Spring and fall are the quiet seasons, but they're becoming increasingly popular. By October, snow forces the closing of most park roads. Snow removal on the alpine portion of Going-to-the-Sun Road is usually completed by mid-June, and the opening of Logan Pass at the road's summit marks the summer opening of Glacier.
